Notes: Tasha is the kind of dog who bonds with people quickly and deeply. Once she gets to know you, Tasha is very loyal and likes to stay by your side. Her favorite activity is going for walks, with playing in the snow as a close second. She is also good with other dogs and enjoys greeting others while out and about. Tasha is housetrained and can be trusted alone in the home. Tasha would be the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a friend who will always be nearby but not necessarily underfoot. She would likely do best in a home with older children who understand that she likes own space sometimes, even though she is a most loyal companion. Come meet this beautiful fluffy lady today! Estimated DOB: 11/28/2008, Weight: 45 lbs. To meet Tasha at one of our weekend adoption events or for more information, email Ccmacfarlane16@gmail.com

Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation is overwhelmingly a volunteer-run organization with a small paid staff providing direct care to animals at the Lost Dog Ranch. Many other animals are cared for in a network of volunteer foster homes and some cats are housed at Petsmart Cat Adoption Centers. Every weekend, LDCRF holds off-site adoption events at local PetSmart and PetCo stores and places more than 2,000 dogs and cats per year for adoption. Dogs are housed with compatible companions in indoor/outdoor runs, so there is always a buddy to play with for those who enjoy it. Dogs who prefer to be by themselves or are not able to share their space with other dogs for medical reasons get private kennels, extra toys, and leash walks with the staff. The kennels are heated and air-conditioned, and everybody has access to beds, blankets and plenty of food and water.
